MARKCHEM MICRO SILICA
DESCRIPTION
MARKCHEM MICRO SILCIA is composed ofsilicon dioxide (SiO2), collected from silicon metal and ferrosilicon. Micro Silica will react with the Calcium Hydroxide from the cement, which will form more of the Calcium Silicate hydrate, increasing the strength of the concrete. Using Micro Silica will also increase the durability of the concrete.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
APPLICATION: Dosage can be adjusted to meet various mix design requirements or to specific job site conditions. Trial concrete or grout mixes must be carried out to determine the appropriate dosage. Typical dosage is between 5% and 15% of cementitious powder content.
Note : MarkChem Micro Silica should not beused with a competitor’s admixture without gaining Technical advice from your local MarkChem representative.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
MarkChem Micro Silica should be stored at room temperature (min 10°C and max 35°C), kept dry and out of direct sunlight. If these conditions are maintained and the product packaging is unopened, then a shelf life is unlimited

PRECAUTIONS
As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin and foodstuffs. Treat splashes to eyes and skin immediately. If accidentally ingested, seek medical attention. Reseal containers after use. Use in well ventilated areas and avoid inhalation.
