MARKCHEM SCA
DESCRIPTION
MARKCHEM SCA is composed of silicon dioxide(SiO2), collected from silica ores that is crushed to make a fine powder, silica alloys, natural volcanic ash and ferro silica. SCA will react with the Calcium Hydroxide from the cement, which will form more of the Calcium Silicate hydrate, increasing the strength of the concrete. Using SCA will also increase the durability of the concrete and compressive strength. SCA also help in waterproofing and bleeding prevention in concrete

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
APPLICATION: Dosage can be adjusted to meet various mix design requirements or to specific job site conditions. Trial concrete or grout mixes must be carried out to determine the appropriate dosage. Typical dosage is between 5% and 15% of cementitious powder content.
Note: MarkChem SCA should not be used witha competitor’s admixture without gaining Technical advice from your local MarkChem representative.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
MarkChem SCA should be stored at room temperature (min 10°C and max 35°C), kept dry and out of direct sunlight. If these conditions are maintained and the product packaging is unopened, then a shelf life is unlimited

PRECAUTIONS
As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact
with eyes, mouth, skin and foodstuffs. Treat splashes to eyes and skin immediately. If
accidentally ingested, seek medical attention. Reseal containers after use. Use in well
ventilated areas and avoid inhalation.
